December 2023 Prayer Letter

Dear Friends,

Merry Christmas! As we approach this joyous season, our hearts are filled with gratitude for your unwavering support and love. Your encouragement has been a beacon of hope in our journey, and we wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news with you.

This December holds a special significance for us as we gear up to bring joy to hundreds of children in need. Our mission to provide toys for these children, while addressing their greatest need—salvation—is a privilege that opens doors to hearts and opportunities that might otherwise remain closed. Your support has made this possible, and we are deeply grateful for your generosity.

This Christmas, we will be in Mexico—our beloved mission field, our home. We’re incredibly blessed to have found comfort and peace here while answering God’s call. Being surrounded by a community that resonates with our mission is a true gift.

We’ve put together a Ministry Christmas List on Amazon, aiming to enhance Mount Hebron Training Ministry’s outreach. Your contribution, no matter how small, will significantly impact our efforts to train nationals in church planting—a vital step in spreading God’s word far and wide. Please consider following the link and joining us in this endeavor.

As we strive to expand our influence for the Lord through Mount Hebron Baptist Church, we earnestly ask for your prayers. Your prayers are the foundation of our work, and we humbly request your support in this aspect.

On a more personal note, our son Jonathan, who is 11 years old, is in need of speech therapy. We’re actively seeking a therapist to assist him, and if anyone within our community knows of someone who could help, please reach out to us. Your guidance and assistance in this matter would be immensely appreciated.

Once again, thank you for your unyielding support, prayers, and love. Together, we are making a significant difference in the lives of many, and we are deeply grateful for your partnership in this mission.

Wishing you a Christmas filled with joy, peace, and the blessings of the season.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Jonathan Ashcraft
