August 2024 Prayer Letter
Dear Friends and Faithful Supporters,
Warmest greetings from Monterrey! As we soak in the blessings of the summer, we are thrilled to share some exciting updates from the Mount Hebron Baptist Bible Institute and extend our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and partnership in ministry.
Ministry Updates
New commercial stove for the dining hall!
August has been a landmark month for us here at the Bible Institute. We celebrated a significant increase in our student enrollment—up by 18% from last year! This growth is a testament to the Lord’s blessing on our work and the increasing demand for solid biblical training in our region. We are excited to welcome new faces eager to learn and grow in their faith.
Additionally, we’ve made a much-needed upgrade to our facilities. Thanks to your generous support, we were able to purchase a new stove for our dining hall, enhancing our ability to serve our students better. This improvement is crucial for our daily operations and contributes greatly to the nurturing environment we strive to provide.
Supporting Our Growth
As we expand, so do our needs. To continue providing high-quality education and resources to our students, we are seeking additional support in various areas. Here’s a list of items that would greatly assist our faculty and students:
Books and Educational Materials: Study Bibles (Reina-Valera 1960); Biblical commentaries in Spanish; Biblical and theological dictionaries in Spanish; Books on theology, church history, and hermeneutics in Spanish; Maps, posters, and classroom decor
Technology: Used or new laptops or iPads for teacher use and for the institute’s library; Used or new projectors and screens for classrooms; Used or new cameras and recording equipment for online classes and services
Office and School Supplies: Notebooks, pens, pencils, and markers; Folders and document organizers; Whiteboards and markers for classrooms
Music Resources: Sheet music and music books; Musical instruments such as guitars, keyboards, or violins; Musical accessories like strings, tuners, and music stands
Student Welfare Items: Backpacks and school supplies; Personal hygiene items; Clothing and shoes, especially dress shirts and ties for preacher boys
Infrastructure and Maintenance Donations: Building materials or paint for facility improvements; Tools for campus maintenance

Prayer Requests
