November 2024 Prayer Letter

Greetings from Monterrey, Mexico! As we move closer to the end of the year, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness and the many ways He continues to work through the ministry here. November has been a month filled with blessings, challenges, and opportunities to see God’s hand at work, and we’re excited to share an update with you.

Bears on Campus

This month brought an unexpected visitor—or several! Local bears have been spotted on our campus, creating a bit of excitement for the Christian School, Bible institute, and church activities. While it hasn’t been a major issue, local authorities have advised us to exercise caution. This has added a unique twist to our daily routines, and we’re reminded of the beauty and unpredictability of God’s creation!

Fall Campaign: A Harvest of Blessings

We are in the midst of our nine-week Fall Campaign, "A Harvest of Blessings," and God has been blessing in tremendous ways. Each week, we’ve seen visitors attend services, walk the aisle, and follow the Lord in believer’s baptism. It’s exciting to see souls being saved and decisions being made for Christ. This campaign has been a powerful reminder of the importance of laboring for the harvest, as Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few” (Matthew 9:37). Please continue to pray that this campaign will bear much fruit and inspire our congregation to step forward as laborers for the Lord.

Gratitude for Our Supporters

As we reflect on this season of thanksgiving, we are especially grateful for you—our supporters and prayer partners. Your faithfulness in standing with us makes it possible for us to continue serving on the mission field. The fruit we see here in Monterrey is not just added to our account but to yours as well. As Paul wrote to the Philippians, “Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account” (Philippians 4:17). Thank you for your commitment to the gospel and for the eternal impact you are making through your prayers and support.

Progress on the Dormitory

We are grateful to report that more funds have come in for the Bible institute dormitory renovation. This has allowed us to make progress on the project as we prepare for new students arriving in the spring semester. While we still need to raise additional funds to complete the renovation, we are trusting God to provide and are excited to see how He continues to bless this effort. Your prayers and support for this project are greatly appreciated.

Prayer Requests

  • Fall Campaign: Pray that more visitors will attend church, make decisions for Christ, and follow Him in believer’s baptism during the remaining weeks of our campaign.

  • Dormitory Renovation: Pray for the remaining funds needed to complete this important project before spring.

  • Safety on Campus: Pray for the safety of our students, staff, and congregation as we navigate the unique challenge of having bears nearby.

Thank you for being a vital part of what God is doing here in Monterrey. Your prayers and support enable us to continue reaching souls, discipling believers, and equipping church leaders. As we look ahead to the coming months, we are excited for the opportunities God will bring and grateful to have you as part of this journey.

With hearts full of gratitude,
