September 2023 Prayer Letter

I trust this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. It brings me great joy to provide you with an update on our mission work and the impact your unwavering support has had on our ministry.

As you may recall, we returned to the mission field on August 25th, reinvigorated and eager to continue our mission of spreading the word of Christ and training nationals to plant churches. Since our return, we have been blessed with several significant developments in our ministry.

On August 29th, our Bible Institute and Christian School resumed their operations. This was a crucial step in our efforts to equip and empower the next generation of Christian leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to serve the Lord effectively.

Following this, on September 5th, my wife Jenny and I had the incredible privilege of traveling to Lima, Peru, to participate in a national pastors’ conference. This event brought together several dozen pastors, all of whom shared a deep commitment to furthering God’s work. During the conference, I had the honor of delivering the closing sermon, and I am thrilled to report that many individuals in attendance were inspired to dedicate their lives to full-time Christian service. It was a powerful testament to the transformative impact of our collective efforts.

Now back in Mexico, we are excited to return to our routine of training nationals to plant churches, and we are more determined than ever to fulfill our mission.

As we move forward, we kindly request your prayers for two upcoming significant events:

• Door Knocking Campaign (October 3-7): We will be actively engaging with our local community, spreading the gospel, and inviting individuals to join our church family.

• Big Day at Church (October 8): This is a vital event for our ministry, and we hope to see the congregation grow as we share the message of Christ’s love and salvation.

In addition to your prayers, we are also in need of financial support to continue our mission effectively. We are currently raising funds for the following essential projects:

• Building Dormitories and a Dining Hall for our Bible Institute: This expansion will provide a safe and conducive environment for our students to learn and grow in their faith.

• Paying Property Taxes and Fees: To ensure the longevity of our ministry, we need to settle outstanding property taxes and complete necessary paperwork.

Your generous contributions have been instrumental in our ministry’s success, and we are immensely grateful for your continued support. Your partnership in prayer and financial support enables us to advance God’s kingdom and make a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals.
